ABOUT US

Welcome to the website of Governance Matters, an independent specialist consultancy service established primarily for the voluntary, community and social economy sector in Scotland.  Governance Matters is based in Fife and was established in January 2007 by Caron Hughes after she recognised a growing demand for a range of specialist services such as legislative compliance (particularly in relation to the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005), quality accreditation and good governance practices.  Existing services were at best limited and more often than not, non existent.
